Description
The Vitocal 242-G compact heat pump is specifically designed for family homes, with a minimal space requirement of only 0.4 M². With an integral Solar Cylinder, Brine and Heating circuit pumps, plus a three-way diverter valve, this compact appliance is quick and easy to install.
The Vitocal 242-G is equipped with the new user-friendly Vitotronic 200 Control Unit. If in doubt, help is available at the push of a button. The graphic interface also displays heating curves and switching times.
The new three-dimensional anti-vibration mounts make these compact heat pumps particularly quiet so they can be installed close to the living space.
The heat pump is supplied by the factory ready to connect, with a casing that can be taken apart for easier handling. Variable connection accessories ensure an easy installation on site.
With the Vitocal 242-G heat pump, the connections for a Solar Thermal system are already in place, as hydraulic connections and a Control Unit are integrated. The high performance Solar Collectors and matching system components from Viessmann compliment the heat pump, meaning that in an average year you can save around 60% of the energy conventionally spent on DHW heating.
