Description
Heating with wood has seen renewed popularity in recent years due to huge advances in technology. Modern wood heating systems are efficient, environmentally friendly and extremely comfortable. The LogWIN Wood Gasification Boilers can also be combined easily with other heat generators such as Solar Systems.
In order to guarantee clean, efficient combustion despite varying fuel quality, Windhager has combined proven Thermo control regulation with a Lambda probe. The advantages include: (i) long term, clean, efficient combustion; (ii) improved burnout characteristics and long maintenance intervals; (iii) additional protection against over-firing the boiler.
Burning wood releases organic acids that can severely corrode the filling chamber. Filling chambers made of conventional steel can suffer up to 0.6mm of degraded wall thickness per year of operation. Stainless steel, on the other hand, is considered the most resistant and durable material for constructing boilers and therefore offers long-term protection against corrosion.
The LogWIN benefits from the following Burnback Protection systems: (i) Thermal Safety Valve (92°C degrees), and (ii) Automatic System Shutdown (Overheat Protection).
The modern InfoWIN Operating (Control) Unit, mounted directly on the Boiler displays clear, full-text information about how to operate the Boiler. All data can be accessed at the touch of a button. The MES (Modular Energy System), which can manage the entire heating system, is also available.
