Description
The unique construction of the Therminator II enables the use of both Wood Chip and Wooden Logs in a combustion chamber, without any additional costs. The Stainless Steel Loading Chamber allows customers to burn Logs up to 50 cm in length and 10 cm in diameter.
The long service life of the high-temperature combustion chamber is ensured by the individually mounted, highly compressed refractory plates.
The Solarfocus Lambda Sensor (supplied by Bosch) measures the "residual air content" of the emissions and forwards the values to the EcoManager Control system of the Therminator II Wood Chip and Log Boiler. The Control system then calculates the optimal air volume required for the combustion from the actual values and sets the dampers and/or regulates the speed of the Induced Draught Fan.
The air required for combustion in the Boiler is supplied by the speed-controlled, stainless steel, Induced Draught Fan. There is also a Secondary Air Regulator which supplies air to the combustion process through the Secondary Air Flap. This makes it possible to burn different biomass fuels while achieving excellent emission values (especially when the operating conditions are modulated).
The Carbonisation Gas extraction system guarantees that when you open the Loading Chamber doors, no smoke emerges as it is extracted directly to the flue by the Induced Draught fan.
Downward burn or "Downburn" refers to the manner in which the flame is suctioned down through the Boiler Grate by the speed-controlled, Induced Draught Fan. Temperatures of up to 1,200°C develop in the Boiler chamber. High temperatures and the Downward Burn system guarantee the complete consumption of the fuel. What this means is maximum operating efficiency with minimum emissions, and less strain on your wallet!
