There are 4 sizes of Dimplex Smart Rads available: 800 W, 1.2 kW, 1.6 kW and 1.8 kW (outputs are based on a Mean Water Flow Temperature of 45°C). All of these models are available with a Metal, White Glass or Black Glass Front finish.

Unlike conventional radiators, Smart Rads utilise a compact, high efficiency Heat Exchanger and intelligently controlled fan to assist convection and delivery of heat into the room. This significantly increases heat output, meaning that – despite much lower water temperatures – Smart Rads are significantly more powerful and as a result can be 3½ times smaller than a conventional steel convector radiator with the same level of output, thus providing a space saving alternative to traditional radiators.

Smart Rads benefit from an Intelligent Fan Convector, capable of using far lower temperature water – and far less of it – than conventional radiator systems. Smart Rads have a rapid heat up time – up to 4 times faster than conventional radiators.
