The environmental benefits of Xpelair MVHR systems have been recognised by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). Many Xpelair products are listed on the BRE’s Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Appendix Q website. This promotes energy efficient ventilation products that offer benefits in SAP and DER (Dwelling Emission Rate) calculations.

In the Database on the website, individual products replace the normal/default settings for each ventilation option. Each product is tested to provide a specific fan power performance that can be used to calculate “energy saving” which is re-entered into the SAP calculation process.
