While the most common form of heating distribution, particularly in a domestic setting, is via standard Steel radiators, Underfloor Heating has become increasingly popular in recent years. Underfloor heating works very well in conjunction with renewable energy systems such as Heat Pumps, as UFH only requires water temperatures of around 35 °C to effectively heat your property. Underfloor Heating is recognised as being very efficient, from both a cost and energy perspective, as well as providing a very comfortable form of ambient heat.

We have also seen a great deal of innovation in the radiator market in recent years, in part driven by ongoing developments in the renewable energy sector. This has led to the introduction of low temperature radiators such as Aluminium radiators and low temperature, fan based radiators such as the Dimplex Smart Rads. These low temperature radiators are designed to work effectively with highly efficient, low temperature Heat Pump systems, where the heating water temperature may only be between 35-50 degrees Centigrade.
